Xplore19- Biggest Techno-Management-Cultural Fest in Kannur

The 5th edition of Xplore19 – Dabble in the Extraordinary, the National Techno Cultural fest by Government College of Engineering, Kannur was declared open on 22 to 24 February 2019, at Government College of Engineering, Kannur. This festival has been continually inspiring the students to showcase their skills, explore their artistic boundaries, research and have fun by taking part in sport and creative events.

On the first day, Xplore19 presented Masala Coffee, the best musicians from distinct artistic backgrounds. This music band was an enthusiastic remarkable show. There lived nothing other similar to it. They just blew us away with their music. This group was staggeringly immeasurable. All Kannurians were totally mesmerized by the entire thing. They were so full of energy with such great music they had composed.

A broad range of Technical competitions for Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Communication, and Computer Science Engineering students adding computer games were arranged on the second day. Cultural & Brainstorming events were arranged on the second day. Around 36 no’s of various competitions in Technical, Cultural, Literary and Sports were organized. Around 800 students from various Engineering colleges competed in the technical and sports events, and around 1000 students participated in cultural events on the second day. Around 4,000 engineering students witnessed this mega event on this day.

On the third day, i.e, 24th February, Xplore19 had arranged for the world’s best DJ party, called the sunburn party. This was the most breathtaking experience for each Kannurian. This party was more than just a DJ. They were as smooth as glass one moment, then down and dirty the next. It left all of us gasping for air. Sunburn was played by DJ Araz, Get Massive, & Progressive brothers from Goa. You feel the blood in your spines, beats in your heart & air in your lungs, you actually feel them and then it’s peace. The Sunburn party was absolutely marvelous.

The result was a smashing success with an over-capacity crowd of 10,000 turned out for the appearance on the event day.
